Startracks patented powered running board assistive lifts were developed to assist individuals who can at least stand to enter a vehicle such as pickups, SUV's, and vans. While other running boards are narrow and flimsy resulting in falls, Startracks' is 10 inches wide and fabricated from 14-guage steel, which can be custom fabricated for any vehicle.

Designed and built exclusively in the USA, these running board are powered by a 12-volt motor hydraulic actuator system which attaches to the vehicles frame. The operating function is controlled by a wireless remote. The lift is designed to allow the user to move the lift in an "up and down" motion at any position by triggering the remote. The running board lift can be installed on either side or both sides to suit the needs of the customer.

The installation also features a hard wired back-up switch with an automatic stop when the running board has reached the up position. If you have not brought the running board completely up, as soon as the transmission is moved out of the park position, the lift will automatically rise and shut off in the "up" position. When the transmission is not in park, the running board will retract and stay in the up position, even if the remote is accidentally activated.

Fabrication includes non-slip treads to prevent slipping while entering and exiting the truck. These non-slip treads are especially useful in snowy winter when the chances of slipping are very high. Materials
used to make them are resistant to rust, corrosion and oxidation. Custom installation is required for the assembly, but may be done by anyone skilled in mechanical installations. Vehicle color matching is also offered as an option when purchasing the running board.
