Komura Comchan Floor Lifter and Transporter

Komura Patient Lift is to assist in the movement of individuals, who have difficulty moving or are unable to move without assistance from the floor to an elevated position and back again. A large switch is located under the armrest. The seat can be raised by pulling a control lever up and lowered by pushing a lever down. Control can be made by any part of your hand with very little effort. Additional control switches for helper, which override the switch on the armrest, are provided on top of the unit.

User-friendly, a large handle is provided in the upper back to enhance maneuverability of the chair. The handle is wrapped with a rubber cover for easy gripping.

Moveable armrests make easy access to the seat from the side of the chair.

Swivel casters ensure maneuverability and enable the chair to move sideways.

Parking Brake is provided to prevent the chair from moving while it is parked.

Footrest can be removed or folded back for easy transferring out of the chair.

Seat can be lowered to a position where the seat surface is as little as 30mm (Approx.1") above the floor. This enables a safe sliding transfer from the floor to the seat with the minimum of effort.

Safety brake is provided under the seat to prevent entrapment. The seat stops when any part of the body or obstacle makes contact with the safety brake.

When the chair is not in use, it can be folded for easy storage.

Seat belts are provided for additional safety when required.

Assistance At Any Level

The design of Comchan is based on the "Independent" model series, which has been very popular ever since its inception in 1993. The photo shows the "Independent Deluxe", the first model in this series. The electrically powered chair can be moved up or down and adjusted to the most desirable height. When you want to stand up, the seat will tilt forward and gently help lift your body upright.
